Montomery Child Care Bel Pre is one of St. Matthew's oldest community service projects. In 1971, St. Matthew volunteers were instrumental in the start-up of our child care program, and ever since, St. Matthew has given Bel Pre a home in the church school building. Our little building is nestled in the woods of St. Matthew's beautiful campus, and surrounded by grass, gardens and a great playground.
Bel Pre provides full-day, weekday child care for children ages 2 to 5, in a licensed, accredited program. We use The Creative Curriculum®, a preschool curriculum approved by the Maryland State Department of Education. We welcome all families, and provide additional financial aid for families using government child care subsidies.
At Montgomery Child Care Bel Pre, children learn and grow through warm relationships with caring adults, in a safe and nurturing environment. We encourage active, hands-on play and learning, and support all aspects of each child's development. Our quality child care prepares children for school, and benefits children for a lifetime.
