FOCUS ON CHILDREN and YOUTH

Throughout the year,we offer many programs for the children of St. Matthew, as well as the children in our community.    

 
Above, the children's choir, puppets and pupputeers, in a progam entitled "Stretch and Grow".  

Each fall, St. Matthew presents their 3rd-graders with their very own New Standard Revised Version bible. 

Every year our church school children 
make sandwiches for Martha's Table, a soup kitchen located in DC. This year, we made over 1100 sandwiches!

Children's Christmas Play,  "Looking For Adventure"
Another St. Matthew highlight is our annual Children's Christmas Play.  Each year, one Advent Sunday is dedicated to the play.  The Church School Children as well as the Children's Choir present this dramatic worship service.
